Latest Beauty Buys
Now everyone loves a good nosy at what people buy. So I thought I would show you a tiny little haul of things that I have purchased recently. If you follow me on instagram (you can find me here) you will know I have decided to take part in #FugalFebruary so this will hopefully be the last one until at least March. If you want to see any #FrugalFebruary content then please comment and let me know. Now on to the haul....
I told you it was teeny tiny. So first up is the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot, this is a repurchase, the last one I had hit pan a long time ago now and I have been meaning to repurchase it so I am glad I finally have. As opposed to a normal powder that provides coverage this is a blotting powder, which just makes sure that oil is kept at bay. It also means that I can apply it as much as I like and it won't cake up on my face.
Next up is something a little different for me in brand and type of product. I have never bought anything from Miss Sporty before, well I don't think I have. I also don't own anything like this. It is a purple toned eye shadow quad. On the back it says that it is suitable for green eyes, so I don't know if there are different ones for different eye colours but I love experimenting with the colours with this.
And lastly after coming towards the end of my Lush Christmas Bath Bombs I thought I would treat myself to a new bath bomb. This is Tisty Tosty and I think this might be part of the Valentine's Day range but I am not 100% sure. As I am yet to try it I can't give you any more detail. Sorry.
So thats the end of my little haul. Let me know what you have bought recently below.
See you soon.

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Love
As you may be able to guess from the title this is my favourite scent from the Soap and Glory range although I think I like all of the scents from the Soap and Glory range, this is my absolute fave. I just want to write this post to let everyone know how great it is.
When I saw that there was a Sugar Crush Hand Food and Hand Maid (so sad that the Hand Maid was out of stock...I think I have a problem), I knew I had to write about my love for the scent.
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub
300ml/£8 - Boots
I think this is the first ever product I bought from the Soap and Glory range. As a big lover of removing fake tan with Soap and Glory exfoliators and this one did not disappoint, it is just as scrubby as the rest of the body scrubs but has a delightful citrus scent to it too. Although the only down side of it is that it only comes in a pit and means that I always end up with water all inside of it.
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Buttercream
300ml/£10 - Boots
Now this is probably the second thing I got from the line as I love the buttercreams they are so thick and moisturising but not too sticky although I would probably just buy this on scent alone it is nice that it is actually a decent moisturiser.
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Hand Food
50ml/£2.50 - Boots
This is what started this whole blog post inspiration was when I saw the Sugar Crush Hand Food in Boots I knew I had to have it. Although hand moisturiser is not a product I regularly use but probably should but I love this scent so much that it actually encourages me to use it a bit more.
What is your favourite Soap and Glory range?????
See you tomorrow.

Get the Glow Makeup
Hi,
Over recent months I have been trying to get more of a glowy dewier look. I used to be all about the matte look but I think that can look a bit cakey and not very natural. I think the glow inducing make up looks a lot more natural for day time. There is however, a fine line between glowy and greasy looking, the latter is much more undesirable.
The key to not looking greasy and shiny which is hard when your skin is prone to being oily is choosing the right products. I think that the selection I have chosen in this post will help to create the perfect glowy makeup without looking like you have gone overboard.
A product that I have not heard much about but is one of my faves is Soap and Glory Hocus Focus. This is a multi purpose product that can be used as a primer or as a highlighter or sometimes I even use it as an eyeshadow base. I usually use this product as a primer before my foundation as it brings a lovely glow to the face which lasts all day long.
The next products are essential for getting the glow and that is the perfect base. My number one fave at the moment is the Bourjois 123 CC cream, although this is a CC cream it gives a decent amount of coverage for a CC cream and gives the perfect amount of radiance from within. This is one is perfect for people who maybe have a more oily skin as it will not look too greasy. Another one of my faves but has to be reserved for when my skin is a bit more dry is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, this foundation is very glowy and can look a bit overboard on my skin if I do not powder. Again this is a foundation that has a medium coverage and can be built up to create more if you want to, I think it definitely gives a look of your skin but better. The only problem I find with it is that it oxidises on the skin so bare this in mind when picking it up.
Next up is brightening the under eyes, not only does this help to hide those bags from that late night you had last night but can also help to make you look more glowy. If I want to achieve this look I will use a combination of two concealers, one for concealing and one for brightening. One concealer that I like to use to conceal is the L'oreal True Match Concealer, this is very good at hiding any colour under my eyes. Next I would go in with a highlighting concealer, although I said in one of my last posts (here) that I was not a big fan of the YSL Touche Eclat, this is the only one I have at the moment but any other drugstore alternative will do.
For a more luminous look, I find that a cream bronzer really helps. Due to it being cream in formulation it is much more natural than a powder bronzer and is also a lot easier to blend than a powder one too. My fave is the Bourjois Bronzing Primer although it looks quite orange toned in the pot once blended out it looks beautiful. Also along the same lines of a cream bronzer is a cream blush, this has the same benefits as a a cream bronzer but obviously in blusher form.My favourite is Barry M Make Me Blush Cream which comes in handy stock form and I blend it out with a stippling brush.
Now on to the main part of the show the highlighters, I have not yet decided what my favourite type of highlighter is but when I go to pick a highlighter to wear there are two that I always gravitate towards are both warm in tone. One of them is the Soap and Glory Glow All Out Powder, this is a pink toned highlighter that once applied to the skin due to my pink undertone looks incredibly natural. It does not have any chunks of glitter in so is virtually undetectable on the skin apart from the lovely glow you have. My other highlighter choice is this Topshop Glow pot as this is a cream product as well, combined with all the other cream products makes for a very natural looking glossy sheen to the skin.
Now on to the final step for the base powder. Being a person who tends to have much more oily skin it is essential for me to powder to make sure I don't go from luminous to sweaty mess. I also tend to take my powder with me just in case of emergencies. My fave at the moment is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Powder it doesn't make you look cakey it just keeps the oil at bay but doesn't make your lovely glow that you have achieved from the rest of the products disappear. I don't know how it manages it but Bourjois have done a good job with this powder and I will continue to purchase it forever. (maybe :p)
What makeup do you use to get a glow?
See you tomorrow!

Christmas Gifting Beauty Edition
Hi,
So it's that time in year again. It's Christmas and time to start buying Christmas gifts.
Buying beauty gifts can be difficult, you don't necessarily know what people want or whether they already have something. Unless this said person has kindly provided a list for you here are some of my suggestions for beauty gifts.
After talking about how nicely scented the Ted Baker range was in my haul. I had to include a Ted Baker product as part of my gift guide. This Ted Baker Body Souffle Bauble would make the perfect stocking filler or maybe even a secret santa present due to its small size. The packaging alone makes it look luxurious and the size of the moisturiser is perfect for travelling.
Another cute little stocking filler, maybe for a girl who wants to try different higher end tan is this St Tropez Cracker, which has a 50ml St Tropez instant tan suitable for face and body. A bit of a bigger set here but still affordable is this set of three 50ml body buttercreams from Soap and Glory. This is perfect for someone who maybe hasn't tried the brand before or people who just like a good pamper.
